Graduating from SUNY at Buffalo with an MBA and a minor in English, Mark D. Reynolds writes at the crossroads of dark, contemporary fantasy and magical realism. The four-book series, The Sea and the Wasteland, comprise two duologies that explore aspects of an afterlife and tie into classics like Moby Dick and Dante’s Inferno. In addition to writing, the author dabbles in handcrafted models and miniatures, as well as making his own creepy Halloween costumes and masks. Currently residing in the western New York area, he previously worked as a sales associate, analyst, and project manager for a national office products wholesaler and distributor before retiring to write fulltime.

All four books of The Sea and the Wasteland series are now available at the Grafton-Midview Public Library in the New Books section (October 24, 2023).
A very special thanks to Krista van Veen for getting the series added.
